Once upon a time, there was a man who made a movie. Many people watched it. They became obsessed with it. Then a man who helped produce that movie came to my school and my professor FORCED me to watch it. (I would receive an F if I didn’t watch it…) I fell asleep through part, laughed through a lot, then I got to hold Oscar. That movie was Titanic. It took my ten years to watch, and even still, I can’t bear lock my eyes on a TV screen when it’s on. But OSCAR. Oh, Oscar! Such a beauty, and YES, it really IS heavier than it looks. I just wish I could have kept it 🙂 hehehe.
I had previously posted this video here on December 26, 2010. One can never have too much inspiration in their life. I appreciate his words, and all of his sincerity. This is his legacy. Thank you, again.
As I check my email and look through items to delete, this AP mobile alert pops up…I am so saddened by this news. Such an amazing person who has influenced the lives of many. Along with many talented developers and programmers and engineers, he changed the face of how regular people use technology, interact with others, and add more success to their businesses, among many other incredible things.
Because of you Steve Jobs, I am a Mac. I am an Apple product. I thank you for your influence not only in my home town area, but around the world. I thank you for the excitement, anticipation and curiosity that you have given to everyone over the years.
My thoughts are with your wife and children, family, friends and colleagues.
Thank you Steve Jobs.
I am a Mac.
